Objective: Defeat the general of the invading army!
Objective completed: Wargoth used Veyla as a puppet to lead his legion of infernals. You've freed her mind, but will Wargoth eventually enslave all of Lore?

*In Falconreach, the battle rages on as the Fire and Flare Imps cast a fire spell before attacking the Guardians; however, the Guardians were able to exterminate them; Guardian Roagh looks at the destruction made from the imps before closing his eyes.*
Guardian Roagh: ...Would it be too much to hope that this is the last we see of these beasts?
*Scene pans left to reveal Guardian Elgar behind Roagh.*
Guardian Elgar: Fear not, Roagh. Should they return, we will drive them out as fiercely as before!
*Guardian Roagh looks up; meanwhile, in the forest between Falconreach and the Sandsea, Veyla confronts Alz'ein, Etaos, you, Nirios, and Isiri.*
Alz'ein: There you are, Veyla. Nowhere left to run.
Veyla: ...
Alz'ein: You're still in there. I know you are. You have to be.
Veyla: ...Destroy...
<Character>: That might have to wait until after we fight, Alz'ein.
Nirios: I'm inclined to agree. The fire that twists her burns too brightly.
Alz'ein: Fine. Come on then. I won't hold back until we break through!
Isiri: Make it quick. If my assessment of this planet's stars is correct, dawn will soon be upon us.
<Character>: Wait, what's wrong with the dawn? ...Have we really been fighting all through the night?
<Dragon>: I'm gonna need the biggest nap after this. | *Sleepy yawn*
Etaos: We'll deal with that when we get there!
<Character>: Er, right.
<Character>: Veyla! Your invasion stops here!
Battle! - begins battle with Veyla and 2 Ashen Squire.
Heal - fully replenishes HP, MP, and potions.
Run Away! - returns to Friday the 13th - Rift War!.
*After defeating Veyla, she falls to the ground, with the flames on her body gone; she glares at you, with her mind back to normal.*
Veyla: ...
Veyla: You fight well, stranger from another planet.
<Character>: Did we do it? Are you free?
Veyla: I... I think so.
Nirios: It appears we were successful.
Alz'ein: ...How could you let this happen to you?
Veyla: Alz'ein?! What are you doing here? Weren't you ordered to maintain—
Alz'ein: That doesn't matter. What happened to you? What of the other Riftwalkers? Answer me!
Isiri: I hate to cut the reunion short, but…
*The sunlight from the sun shines on Veyla, slowly burning her, signified by smoke on her body.*
Veyla: Agh! It burns... is that... sunlight?
Isiri: I'm sorry, <Character>, but do you happen to have any spare cloaks? We Ateala are rather sensitive to the sunlight, as you can see.
<Dragon>: <Character> has lots of spare things! Cloaks, treats, junk, weapons, more treats, all kinds of things! | *Reassuring, and slightly hungry, chirps*
<Character>: Veyla, was it? Here.
*You use a cloak on Veyla, covering her from the sun.*
<Character>: And yes, I do have enough for all of you.
<Character>: Veyla, are we safe to retreat for now? Is the invasion over?
Veyla: Y—yes... I think.
<Character>: Then let's get back to Falconreach, for now. If the sun hurts you, we shouldn't risk traveling to the desert during the day.
Isiri: I apologize that we've waylaid your plans so much, <Character>, <Dragon>.
Etaos: If there's anything we can do to make up for it, please, let us know.
Nirios: Focus. We must make haste. The sun will not wait for pleasantries.
<Character>: Don't worry about it. But, before we go, earlier, Nirios, you mentioned that "Wargoth" was in control of Veyla.
<Character>: If it isn't too long of a story, who is that?
Nirios: Wargoth... The Infernal being our people are fleeing. The destroyer of our home planet, Somorah.
Nirios: I'm afraid that any more will have to wait until more comfortable settings. But you will have your answers, I promise.
Alz'ein: Veyla, here, take my hand.
Veyla: Thank you, Alz'ein. Heh... Reminds me of our days back in training...
Veyla: And thank you, Unael, and <Character>. I have my own mind again. I cannot thank you enough for that.
*Meanwhile, On the top of Falconreach's wall, Guardian Mekiai reports with Guardian Kain.*
Guardian Kain: What do you have to report, Mekiai? Have we gotten word back from Swordhaven yet?
Guardian Mekiai: Sir! Good news! Falconreach is safe, and the few critters that remain are being dealt with swiftly.
Guardian Mekiai: The reinforcements won't be needed. We have won, sir.
Guardian Kain: Either that, or they're pulling back and preparing for another wave. Don't let your guard down just yet.
Guardian Kain: And don't recall the messengers, either. Swordhaven needs to know what's happened.
Guardian Mekiai: Yes, sir.
Guardian Kain: And what of the Ateala?
Guardian Mekiai: They're alright, but even though the battle's over... it seems like they're still worried about something, if you know what I mean?
Guardian Kain: Get to the bottom of their worries, then. Let it not be said that Falconreach were improper hosts.
Guardian Mekiai: Yes sir!
*Scene fades to black.*
