Optimistic Citizen: The Magesters are getting ready for something big, I know it!
Concerned Citizen: I heard the last shipment from Azaveyr was even lighter than usual...
Concerned Citizen: If this keeps up... only the Shapeless—
*The Concerned Citizen becomes terrified as a spark of magical energy flashes nearby.*
Optimistic Citizen: What is wrong? Is something the matter?
*Scene pans outward to reveal that a portal has opened near the two citizens.*
Optimistic Citizen: G-go sound the alarm! I will hold off whatever comes through!
Concerned Citizen: Do not be ridiculous! Run! Run!
*The two Citizens run away as Alexander enters from the portal, signified by his pink slippers; later, Zvezdana, you, your dragon, Alteon, Amadeus, and the Magesters meet with the new arrivals—Warlic and Alexander.*
Zvezdana: You are the mages we have been waiting for? The legendary blue mage, Warlic?
Zvezdana: And...?
Alexander: Call me Alexander.
*Zvezdana becomes perplexed and looks at Alexander's pink slippers before focusing back at Warlic and Alexander.*
Alexander: Don't mind the slippers.
Alexander: They keep my feet warm.
Warlic: Ahem!
<Character>: It's good to see you again, Warlic!
Warlic: And you as well, <Character>!
Warlic: Amadeus.
*Amadeus nods back at Warlic.*
Zvezdana: Back to the matter at hand—
Zvezdana: I am Zvezdana of the Magesterium of the Shapeless Empire.
Zvezdana: Mages of Greenguard, you are our honored guests.
Zvezdana: With your arrival, our preparations are nearly complete.
Zvezdana: Please, join us in the Magesterium chambers, and we can discuss the specifics in private.
Warlic: I imagine there will be much for us to talk about.
Warlic: We'll find you later, <Character>.
A while later…
*In the Magesterium chambers, you, your dragon, and Alteon are sitting on the left side of the table while Warlic and Alexander are sitting on the opposite side; Amadeus, Vseslava, and Ostromir are watching nearby; you and your allies are debriefing Warlic and Alexander the Magesterium's plans to assault the Rose encampment.*
Alteon: I know they've been nothing but kind to us, but... It doesn't sit well with me that we have to simply follow the Magesterium's plans.
Alteon: No offense, Ostromir, Vseslava.
Ostromir: ...
Vseslava: If you have any better ideas, please, enlighten us, former king.
<Character>: They have a solution for Akanthus, and the more allies we have, the better.
Warlic: Their assault plan seems sound to me. Although...
Warlic: I did have to remind them that I am not a being of pure destruction.
Warlic: They had the distinct idea that I would somehow rain destruction from the sky and wipe the entire Rose encampment off the face of Lore.
Ostromir: I have no idea where they could have gotten such an... Infernal idea.
Vseslava: Ostromir!
Warlic: Indeed. Quite puzzling.
Warlic: Regardless, I doubt we could foresee everything going according to plan once we catch up to Jaania.
<Character>: Yeah. Jaania doesn't care about the Magesterium's rules or protocols. All plans are off when we confront her.
Alexander: ...
Amadeus: It's happening tomorrow, then?
Vseslava: Yes. Preparations are complete. I suggest you take care of any... final business that may need addressing.
*After debriefing Warlic and Alexander, the final preparations are complete.*

<Character>: We will stop Jaania and Akanthus.
<Character>: Whatever happens, we're going to save Lore.
