If you have a Dragon Amulet: <Dragon>: It's so bright in here! Where's all that light coming from? <Character>: It's even hotter in here than– Tytan: *Grrrrooooaaaargh!* *You look up at the source of the noise.* <Dragon>: Hello? <Character>: What was–? Tytan: *Bwhooooooah!* <Dragon>: You can hear me? <Character>: Of course I can hear you! What's that noise? Tytan: *Hroooooooom...* <Dragon>: It's... the Tytan! I can understand it! <Dragon>: Well, it's not really talking, more like... speaking... ideas. <Dragon>: Does that make sense? <Character>: I... no, it doesn't. Tytan: *Grrrrooooaaaargh!* <Dragon>: I think I can talk to it! <Character>: Great. Can you ask it to spit us out, then kindly go back through the portal? <Dragon>: I'll try! <Dragon>: Grand Tytan, can you please spit us out, then try to go back from where you came? Tytan: *Hroooooaom!* <Dragon>: It says... it can't. Not that it doesn't want to. <Dragon>: I get the feeling that it physically can't. Like it's being forced to do this! <Character>: Is it the Magesterium? <Dragon>: I don't think so. Wouldn't The Golden Hand have told you if that were the case? Hmm. <Dragon>: Grand Tytan, what is shackling you and keeping you against your will? Tytan: *Bwhoooooooah...* <Dragon>: Whoa. <Character>: What? <Dragon>: Give me a moment, it's a lot to process! <Character>: It just went "bwoah" really loud, how is that- <Dragon>: Okay, so, it's been like this for a very, very long time. <Dragon>: It's... being forced to go wherever its chains take it, even though its masters are gone. <Dragon>: <Character>, it's so old, and it's been enslaved for so long! We have to help it! <Character>: Help it?! *At first you appear enraged by your dragon's suggestion, but your expression softens.* <Character>: Enslaved by what? <Dragon>: The orb! The sun! We have to break the giant orb sun! Tytan: *Grrrrooooaaaargh!* <Dragon>: Let's go, <Character>! The Tytan is like a chained tog. I'm sure it'll be grateful if we free it! <Character>: Well, you're the expert here, <Dragon>. Let's smash that orb. Tytan: *Hrrrm?* <Character>: What was that? <Dragon>: Oh. It doesn't know what a tog is. Also it says you taste bad. And that you should feed me more Dragon Snax when we're done with this! <Dragon>: And I deserve more belly rubs, and head pats, and– <Character>: Just because I can't understand the Tytan doesn't mean I'm stupid. Let's get moving. <Dragon>: Hmph. Fiiiiine. If you don't have a Dragon Amulet: <Dragon>: *Curious growl* <Character>: It's even hotter in here than– Tytan: *Grrrrooooaaaargh!* *You look up at the source of the noise.* <Dragon>: *Surprised chirp* <Character>: What was–? Tytan: *Bwhooooooah!* <Dragon>: *Inquisitive roar* <Character>: <Dragon>? Is everything okay? Tytan: *Hroooooooom...* <Dragon>: *Deliberative grumbles* <Character>: I... are you talking to the Tytan? Tytan: *Grrrrooooaaaargh!* <Dragon>: *Affirmative chirp* <Character>: Great. Can you ask it to spit us out, then kindly go back through the portal? <Dragon>: *Polite, yet firm requesting growl* Tytan: *Hroooooaom!* <Dragon>: *Beckoning chirps* <Character>: Well, you're the expert here, <Dragon>. I'll follow you! <Dragon>: *Assertive growl* Tytan: *Hrrrm?* <Dragon>: *Joking chirps* <Character>: You're talking about me, aren't you! <Dragon>: *Innocent growl* *You fight your way through various elementals until you find the sun orb enslaving the Tytan.* If you have a Dragon Amulet: <Dragon>: Here we are! We just need to beat this up, and the Tytan will be free! <Character>: It's so... bright! <Character>: But we've dealt with worse, haven't we, <Dragon>? <Dragon>: Yeah! We got this! If you don't have a Dragon Amulet: <Dragon>: *Angry growls* <Character>: It's the orb! It's so... bright! <Character>: Are we supposed to break it? <Dragon>: *Affirmative chirp* <Character>: Then let's do this! Battle! - begins battle with Stardriver A-014-S. Heal - fully replenishes HP, MP, and potions. Run Away! - returns to The Greenguard Alliance - Rose Faction / Golden Hand Faction / Vind Faction. *After the battle, the sun orb begins to vibrate rapidly, threatening to explode.* <Character>: Oh, tell me this isn't– Tytan: *PHHWOOOOOOAAAAAAAAARGH!* *The Tytan's eyes widen as it projects an intense beam of light from its mouth–so intense, the recoil force sends the Tytan back through the rift; you and your dragon are ejected from the Tytan's mouth, and recovered mid-air by two Riftwalkers; once the Tytan is completely through the rift, Ostromir shrinks the rift down to a manageable size; the Riftwalkers return you and your dragon to Swordhaven, landing before Queen Victoria, Kara SuLema, and Melissa, as Vseslava watches on remotely.* <Character>: Oof... <Character>: I... think it worked. <Character>: Whoa. My legs are all wobbly. If you joined the Rose Faction / Golden Hand Faction: <Character>: Alz'ein? Thank you for saving me, but... what are you doing here? Alz'ein: Don't sweat it. The other Riftwalkers and I have been helping out the Vind. Alz'ein: Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to uh, get out of the sun. If you joined the Vind Faction: <Character>: Thanks for the save, Alz'ein. <Character>: Are you... doing alright? Alz'ein: I'm fine, don't sweat it. Alz'ein: We'll be going now, if you don't mind... Queen Victoria: <Character>, you did it! The Tytan went back through, and The Golden Hand managed to shrink the rift! Magus Hansa: I'm sure it looked impressive., Melissa: Great job, <Character>!, Kara SuLema: Well done, <Character>! Vseslava: That's a Hero for you!, Ostromir: Nobody back home is going to believe this! <Character>: I... wow. Thanks, everyone. But really, it's all thanks to <Dragon> too. I couldn't have done it without them. If you have a Dragon Amulet: <Dragon>: That's right! I'm the greatest ever! Fetch me my snacks, peons! If you don't have a Dragon Amulet: <Dragon>: *Haughty roar* Queen Victoria: Thank you too, <Dragon>! I'm sure you were vital to the mission! <Character>: Now... if you don't mind, I think I'm going to find a nice dark room and take a nap. I've had enough light for a lifetime. Queen Victoria: Of course. I'll have some knights escort you and <Dragon> to the castle. Queen Victoria: You've more than earned it. Don't worry, we'll take care of cleaning up the remainder of the invasion! *Meanwhile, back at Sepulchure's secluded home, Lynn is sparring with a training dummy.* Lynn: Your life is fore– f– four feet, foul beast! *Lynn hears the sound of a twig crack and glances back worriedly.* Lynn: Pa–! Lynn: –pa... Sepulchure: Nnngh... Sepulchure: Pack your important things, princess. We're leaving. Lynn: Wha– W-Who did this to you, papa? Lynn: I'll... I'll... Lynn: I'll kill them! Sepulchure: I appreciate it, sweetie, but even this is out of our hands. Sepulchure: We are leaving. Lynn: B-but all my– Sepulchure: What have I taught you? Lynn: My– Lynn: *Sigh* Lynn: "Material things are just that. You can't rebuild a kingdom without knocking a few houses over." *Lynn pauses, knowing her father is right.* Lynn: I- I'll go get my bags ready. Sepulchure: That's a good girl. Let us move with haste. Lynn: Can I at least bring my pet along? *Sepulchure looks equal parts confused and worried about Lynn's unknown "pet".* Sepulchure: Your... pet? *Lynn smiles proudly as it is revealed her "pet" is Jimmy the Blue Flying Eye; Warlic's spy eye; meanwhile, back in Swordhaven, Queen Victoria has returned to the throne and has gathered everyone to report on the day's events.* Queen Victoria: And with that, the Swordhaven Rift has been dealt with. Reports, please. Vseslava: We've brought the rift back under Magesterium control. Nothing else should be coming out from it. Ostromir: It would be advisable to post some guards near it, though. You never know, right? Queen Victoria: Understood. We'll delegate some knights to prevent anyone from approaching, and anything from emerging. Queen Victoria: What of the Doomwood front? Kara SuLema: DragonLord Mritha has been heading the Vind forces there. Magus Hansa: Magus Neron for The Rose. Kara SuLema: Thankfully there has been no sign of a Tytan yet, at least. Magus Hansa: The storms have gotten worse, however, and wildfires are starting to become a problem. Magus Hansa: The locals have been most cooperative, thanks to Magus Neron's efforts. Queen Victoria: I see. Has the base of the rift been located yet for The Golden Hand? Kara SuLema: Our scouts have narrowed one focus down to some ancient ruins deep within Doomwood. Kara SuLema: It will not be easy to secure. Queen Victoria: Hmm. Queen Victoria: And what of the Northlands? Magus Hansa: Again, no sign of a Tytan yet, but the situation seems less dire compared to Amityvale's. Kara SuLema: Niki has led our scouts there, and they've reported many strange fungal growths sprouting from the snow and ice. Kara SuLema: Whatever is happening, it's certainly less overt than what has happened to Swordhaven and Amityvale. Magus Hansa: So far, at least. Magus Hansa: We have also struggled to find the foci of the Northlands rift. Queen Victoria: I see. Thank you, everyone. Queen Victoria: I see. Queen Victoria: And the Deadlands are still quiet? Kara SuLema: It's the strangest thing. We haven't noticed any unusual activity besides a few stray elementals. Magus Hansa: And given that it's the Deadlands, that's hardly out of the ordinary as well. Queen Victoria: We'll have to keep a close watch on that rift in case it changes then. Thank you for the reports. *Queen Victoria ponders over the reports momentarily before concluding where to focus on next.* Queen Victoria: In that case, our next target must be Doomwood. We will take some time to prepare and recover, and then– Queen Victoria: We march to Doomwood! *Despite Queen Victoria's eagerness, there is one slight problem...* Magus Hansa: With all due respect, Your Majesty, but you're the queen. Magus Hansa: Your place is here, in Swordhaven. Queen Victoria: Y-yes. You're right, of course... *Caught up in the moment, Queen Victoria appears saddened by this realization.* Victoria: Very well. We'll take some time to prepare and recover and then– Victoria: You'll march to Doomwood! *Victoria hangs her head.* Victoria: It really isn't the same. *Later, outside of Jaania's room, Kara SuLema sits down.* Kara SuLema: ... *On the other side of the door, Jaania sits, head in hands, eyes twitching, as light from the magic mirror fills the darkened room.* Jaania: ... *Sitting back to back, separated by no more than a door, Kara tries to talk with Jaania.* Kara SuLema: I know how much you must be struggling. You can talk to me, Jaania. *Scene fades to black.* Complete Quest Other information A yellow hemisphere partway through the quest acts as a HP/MP healing pad.
