<Dragon> joins you as a pet.
If you joined the Rose faction:
Hansa joins you as Guest A.
Captain Lestrad joins you as Guest B.
*You and your allies are running as they follow Hansa to find a fungal tendril.*
Captain Lestrad: Are you certain this is the right way, Magus?
G. M. Hansa: Of course I am. If you have any doubts, you're welcome to wander off on your own, Captain.
Captain Lestrad: I... I apologize. I did not mean any offense—
Kord: Grow a spine, DragonLord.
*Captain Lestrad stops running as Kord rudely insults him.*
Captain Lestrad: You have no right to—
Captain Lestrad: Galanoth, control your subordinate!
G. M. Hansa: Whose idea was it to have this volatile mix of factions in one team, again?
<Character>: I thought it would be easier to keep an eye on everyone like this.
G. M. Hansa: ...You can't just be saying things like that to someone who's blind, <Character>.
<Character>: You know what I meant.
G. M. Hansa: Of course.
Galanoth: Kord, settle down. We have no quarrel with The Rose or the DragonLords in this endeavor.
Kord: Right. Fate of Greenguard and all that. But it doesn't mean I have to like it. Sorry, sir.
Captain Lestrad: Tell you what, Kord. Once this is all over, let's get a drink together. A pint or few of Moglinberry Juice.
Kord: Does that usually work for you? Didn't seem to stop DragonLords defecting to the Vind.
Captain Lestrad: ...I see a lot of myself in you, boy. I see you heading down the same mistaken path that I have wandered for far too long.
*Scene shifts to focus on Kord, who is listening to Galanoth.*
Galanoth: If it weren't for the fact that we're deep inside a Tytan, I would have sent you out of the city already, Kord.
Galanoth: You have done nothing but complain about having to work with The Rose and the DragonLords.
Galanoth: We will finish this mission, and then we will speak later, understood?
Kord: Yes, sir.
G. M. Hansa: Let's keep going. We're almost there..
If you joined the Golden Hand faction:
Galanoth joins you as Guest A.
*You and your allies are running as they follow Vseslava to find a fungal tendril; as they run, Vseslava's beacon emits, signifying an urgent message.*
Ostromir: Vseslava, wait.
*Vseslava stops running per Ostromir's orders.*
Vseslava: What is it, Ostromir?
Ostromir: Your beacon.
<Character>: Is this an emergency?
*Vseslava receives her beacon's message as Ostromir turns around.*
Ostromir: It is of the utmost priority. Someone from the Magesterium is trying to contact us.
<Character>: Survivors? Or maybe the situation in the Capitol is back under Magesterium control.
Ostromir: We can only hope. Without backup of some kind, closing the rift on our own will be... challenging.
Kord: What? You mean, even if we somehow take down this Tytan, and again, somehow escape with our lives—
Kord: —even then, you don't have a way to close the rift?
Kord: What's to stop another Tytan coming through? What if more already have?!
Ostromir: ...You are an excitable one, are you not?
Galanoth: Have faith, Kord. There is always a solution.
Kord: As you say, sir.
<Character>: Vseslava, how are things—
<Dragon>: Aren't we in a rush? Do we have time for this? My tailscales are itching in anticipation! | *Increasingly impatient growls*
<Character>: Steady, <Dragon>.
Ostromir: It's a miracle of the Shapeless that we somehow have reception here. Whatever the message is, it must be important.
Vseslava: Okay. Done.
<Character>: Is everything okay, Vseslava? How is the Capitol?
Vseslava: Still no word from them. This was from Outpost Yeden.
Ostromir: Yeden? The Golden Hand there, they are still active?
Vseslava: They are. While their message was urgent, our current task still takes priority.
Ostromir: ...I see. It is comforting to know we are not the last. But I suppose we are still without backup here.
Kord: So much for faith.
Galanoth: We will find a way.
<Character>: Let's keep moving. I think the tendril we're after is just up ahead!
If you joined the Vind faction:
Kara joins you as Guest A.
Mritha joins you as Guest B.
*You and your allies are running as they follow Kara to find a fungal tendril.*
<Character>: Kara, we need to talk about what happens after this. After we close all the rifts.
Kara SuLema: What do you mean?
<Character>: Jaania. Akanthus. The Rose. After we close the last rifts, what then?
Kara SuLema: I trust Jaania. She's learned from her mistakes.
*You stop running as you don't believe Kara's words.*
<Character>: Do you really believe that? After everything Akanthus has done under her watch—
<Character>: As far as I know, she still trusts him. Somehow.
Kara SuLema: I... I want to believe in her.
*Despite Kara's hopes, Mritha agrees with you as they must face an uncertain future after the rifts are dealt with.*
Mritha: <Character> is right. We must be ready for the Alliance to dissolve once the threat is gone.
Mritha: I doubt Akanthus will have given up on his schemes.
<Character>: Queen Victoria will have our backs on this, I'm sure.
Kord: As long as you don't ask the Dragonslayers for help—
Mritha: I don't remember asking your opinion. Who invited this kid along, anyway?
Kara SuLema: Mritha, please.
Galanoth: Should you require our aid against The Rose, we would be glad to provide it—
Galanoth: After we've secured Dragesvard and reestablished the order.
Galanoth: We will be of little use to you scattered and disorganized as we are now.
Kara SuLema: Thank you, Galanoth. It is most appreciated. Perhaps we can send some aid after we've moved on to the final rift.
Galanoth: That would be most welcome.
<Character>: I'm sure Queen Victoria will want to help, too. We'll talk to her when we return to Swordhaven.
Kord: I don't understand how you can be so optimistic.
Kord: We're deep in the darkness of a Tytan, unsure if we can even take it down, and you're already looking to the future.
<Character>: All we can do is strive and hope for the best. We've faced worse threats. We'll make it through this.
Kord: ...If you say so.
Kara SuLema: The tendril is just up ahead. Ready, <Character>?
<Character>: Let's do this!
*You and your chosen Faction representative(s) must battle a Megarhizome tendril to progress; after the battle, all three fungal tendrils are immediately defeated one by one, leaving only the fungal Tytan's core; scene fades to black as the core's shell breaks; a giant darkness orb emerges from the shell as you and the Alliance prepare to fight.*
<Character>: So, after we take this down, we'll need to stick together and head back out the way we came.
<Character>: We don't know exactly what will happen.
<Character>: In the worst case scenario, Mritha, Lestrad, and the DragonLords can summon their dragons in to help.
<Character>: If we do so, we'll lose our connection to the outside, but our safety comes first.
Kara SuLema: I can provide some protection as well, if things start to collapse.
G. M. Hansa: I'll be sure to let everyone know the safest way out I can see.
<Dragon>: Nothing's gonna stop us! | *Heroic roar!*
<Character>: Let's do this. Let's save Dragesvard!
Battle! - begins battle with Symbiotic Darkness Elemental, Aged Hollow Human (2), and Aged Hollow Human (1).
Heal - fully replenishes HP, MP, and potions.
Run Away! - returns to Dragesvard's Shore.
*After the battle, the giant darkness orb shrinks before being destroyed.*
Kord: We did it?
Kord: We did it!
*The fungal Tytan shakes, signifying that its time to get out.*
<Character>: Everyone! Let's go! Let's move!
*Back outside, in Tyndur's Depths, the fungal Tytan flails around as its core is destroyed; still inside the Tytan, you and the Alliance are running to escape.*
Kara SuLema: Mritha, how are things looking outside?
Mritha: Um. Not good. Odgne says the Tytan just seems angrier.
<Character>: Hansa? Are there any other sources of Darkness that we missed?
G. M. Hansa: Well, it's infused through the Tytan. We definitely got rid of any nodes I can see...
Kara SuLema: Then... it must be flailing. One last burst of energy before it falls.
<Character>: That's not good at all. If it rolls or tumbles, what remains of Dragesvard will be destroyed.
<Character>: And we won't have a way out.
Kord: So what do we do now, "hero"?
<Character>: We keep running. And hoping.
Galanoth: All will be well.
Kord: You don't know that. You don't!
*The Great One speaks through Galanoth, signified by glowing green eyes.*
Geno: All will be well.
Kratos: The time has come to for us to act.
Mritha: Obviously not.
Captain Lestrad: After all this time... why now, O Great One?
Geno: You need our help.
Kratos: The little one and the hero deserve a chance.
Geno: We shall bear this burden.
Kratos: We will stop this plague.
*In Braughlmurk Region, the Great One, who supports the mountain containing Dragonsgrasp, awakens as they walk towards Tyndur's Depths; scene fades to black.*
