Mogloween Tales

Holiday Special Event!
As the Cauldron Sister's biggest fan, I have decided to chronicle the adventures of these lovely, candy-making witches in this journal. These are the tales of how Mogloween came to be and the parts played by the Cauldron Sisters and one very special hero!

Toil: Would you like to relive one of the older events?

Chapter 1

First Mogloween
The Cauldron Sisters are looking for a hand in their new candy-making business, and you seem to have all the qualifications.

But it looks like one ebil, blue moglin has other ideas for the candy...

Toil: Happy Mogloween, <Character>! It's good to see you again!

Chapter 2

The Necropolis!
In order to understand the next chapter of Mogloween, we will need a little back story.

Some time after the first Mogloween, the paladin, Artix, has finally discovered the entrance to the fabled Necropolis far beneath the soil of Doomwood.

Artix: Hi <Character>! The Necropolis awaits!

It is recommend to play through The Necropolis' quests before the next Mogloween event.

Chapter 3

Mogloween Theft
The Cauldron Sisters once again need your help. Their candy has gone missing and only you can help them discover what has happened to their stolen shipment of sweets...

Sally: Happy Mogloween, <Character>! Want to play?

Chapter 4

Candy Fight
The Cauldron Sisters have arrived again and they aim to make the best candy ever this year! Something is wrong though... they can't seem to agree on anything!

Toil: Happy Mogloween, <Character>! It's good to see you again!

Chapter 5

Resident: Sneevil
The mysterious outbreak of zards in Moonridge has not slowed and, if the source of the zards isn't discovered soon, it threatens to spread to all the surrounding towns!

The fabled Zardhunter, Irwin Dundee, has been investigating since the zards were first spotted on Friday the 13th but, even with help, he hasn't made much headway....

Irwin Dundee: 'Ey there, <Character>! It's time to figure out where alla these zards are comin' from!

Chapter 6

48 Weeks Later!
Last year, a mysterious virus raged in the woods around Moonridge. If not for the Cauldron Sisters candy cure, zards and zardbies would have overrun Lore!

Now, 48 weeks later, M.O.P. is resettling those who were displaced by the chaos of last year in the Moonridge Mansion. What could possibly go wrong?

Andy: Please! Keep me safe from the monsters!

Chapter 7

Cat-astrophy!
Last time we saw the Cauldron Sisters, Bubble had lost her voice and could only mew while Bubble was able to talk but was still a cat. Bubble may have found a cure for both Bubbles and is going to need some help.

For once, it looks like things are going smoothly this year! The candy is nearly ready, a cure may be in sight. Everything is looking up.

Bubble: Really now. I've been stuck like this for years... I'm more than a little tired of catching marzipan mice for dinner.

The six Cat Items are located somwhere within the health and mana potion reagent quests, Braughlmurk Cape, one of the Amityvale quests, one of Valencia's quests and one of the Dragesvard quests. Make sure you don't try to turn the items in before you've found all six, otherwise what items you have will disappear!

Chapter 8

Monstervania!
A new evil has arisen... one summoned with items filled with the hate, anger, and power of Lore's greatest villains... Baron Valtrith!

Valtrith has not been idle since his summoning. New monsters have begun to attack at the edges of towns and villages all over Lore! The mysterious Shadow Hunter, Symone DuBellmount, has arrived to hunt down the Baron and stop his army before it overruns Lore!

Symone: The DuBellmounts have been hunting creatures of Valtrith's ilk for centuries. His twisted monsters have been attacking, it's up to us to stop them.

Chapter 9

Candy Troubles
The Cauldron Sisters seem to have everything well in hand this year. They've planned out everything and made sure nothing can go wrong. Or have they?

Someone isn't happy with how things are and will stop at nothing to make sure she gets what she wants.

Toil: Happy Mogloween, <Character>! It's good to see you again!

Chapter 10

Bubble Trouble
Bubble's curse has been broken and she is back to normal! As Mogloween night fast approaches, she is returning to Croft to see her sisters.

Will things go well, or will this be a cat-astrophe of epic proportions?

Bubble: It's past time for things to be made right.

Chapter 11

Apsaydaaun
With Myx purified, MOP members cured and other past problems and mistakes dealt with, surely this year's Mogloween will be the perfect one!
Time to head over to Croft and begin trick-or-treating!

That is, of course, if Croft has appeared...

Chapter 13 12

The Blood Moon
After travelling to Apsaydaaun and dealing with whatever was thrown your way, you've managed to unground the Sisters!
Let's hope Croft will appear this year and everything will be as usual!

What could POSSIBLY go wrong, right!?

Uh oh... what is that, in the sky...?

Safiria: The Blood Moon... This does not bode well.

Chapter 13

Al'nold
Cauldron Sisters' parents came to visit!

Let's show them some loreian hospitality and make them feel like home!

But while the moms are making themselves comfortable, something weird is going on in Verlyrus' house...

Chapter 14

Swollen Ego
Croft has appeared right on time, Jack is reinventing himself as a gardener, Bubble is visiting her parents and the rest of the Cauldron Sisters are waiting for you to start trick or treating!

After last year's shenanigans with the Baleful Brothers, this year is looking bright!

Al'nold: Hi, umm... sorry to interrupt, but...

Al'nold: There is a certain situation we might need your help with.

Chapter 15

Outgrowing Expectations
Bubble's back in action again, after having a long conversation with her moms.

It looks like Verlyrus will also be joining this year's trick or treating! Is he looking a little bit more... buff? Must be some lasting side effects from last time!

It's time to start knock-knock-knocking!

Unless... something goes horribly wrong!

Al'nold: S-so sorry to interrupt again, but... yeah, we have a problem over here.

Al'nold: Again...

Chapter 16

THAT
Another year has come and gone and Croft has returned to Lore once again!

With the Apsaydaaun Citizens on their best behavior, and all external candy threats keeping quiet, this year seems to be going smoothly!

Almost TOO smoothly one might say.

A strange sighting puts an end to the year that seemed so peaceful!

Toil: Happy Mogloween, <Character>! It's good to see you again!

Chapter 17

Night of the Ebil Dread
The Cauldron Sisters are visiting Falconreach this year, and they have opened a candy stall!

The queue is long, but totally worth it!

As long as no undead invasion happens, you'll be able to get your hands on some brand new candy!

Wait... WHAT UNDEAD INVASION?!

Artix: Greetings and salutations, <Character>! Let us see what this year's Mogloween has in store!

Chapter 18

EbilTreats
It's time for Trick or Treating!

The queue is long, but totally worth it!

As you get closer to Croft, you can smell the sweetness of newly made candy in the air, and the horrifying screams of people in distress!

Wait... Screams of people in distress!?

Toil: Happy Mogloween, <Character>! We've come up with an exciting idea that will revolutionize trick or treating!

Chapter 19

CandyCon
THis year, Croft is paying host to the first ever Mogloween convention: CandyCon!
Visit booths hosted by familiar characters, go trick-or-treating, and, if you're brave enough, traverse Bubble's Hedge Maze of Horror to earn Chocolate Coins to spend to buy a variety of new cosmetic items!

It's a celebration of candy!

Toil: Happy Mogloween, <Character>! Are you ready for the latest and greatest Mogloween convention?
