This guide outlines DragonFable's releases (spoiler-free!). At a glance, you can see what you've missed: quests, special events, shops, areas, classes, etc. Other bits of information are also included; like when a shop is updated, you'll see what items are added. Details are provided to the best of my ability. Navigation 1. The entries are in chronological order. 2. For specific searches, find (CTRL + F) your date using the format: Month Date, Year or Month Year Example: January 5, 2003 or January 2005 (recommended). If you're having trouble searching, DF Q&A FAQ has a good explanation on top. 3. Labels are used in this guide. 2005 July 26, 2005 July 2005 - DragonFable's website is released. August 2005 - Nothing to see here. September 7, 2005 September 2005 - New DragonFable logo. Design concept from Mysizaar. (Details needed) October 7, 2005 October 2005 - Basic game functionality have been implemented in a private testing server. "We actually logged into the game and walked around for the first time today!" -- Here are the list of features: - - - - New user sign up - - - - Login - - - - Character creation - - - - Character selection (and management) - - - - Loading character, starting town and quest files - - - - Exploration and basic interaction - - - - Semi working Inventory, Quest, and "The Temporary Item Sack" - Galanoth, Artix, Robina, and Warlic from AQ have been converted to DF style. October 10, 2005 - New, much improved pre-loader is now working. The new pre-loader loads multiple files at once and if a part fails, it gives you the choice to retry or exit to main screen. -- "This new pre-loader works for anything from weapons to towns which means it is very unlikely that you will ever be booted out of DragonFable for a file load bug." October 11, 2005 - The first monster pack was built, featuring a fire elemental, earth elemental, and a random undead. - Walk-around engine has been altered so that your character can have different sizes and move at different speed depending on the scene. October 12, 2005 - First screenshot of DF's battle screen has been released. October 13, 2005 - Walk-around engine is completed. Work on battle engine started. - The Random Weapon Name Generator has been updated with the help of the players DragonFable Forums. October 14, 2005 - New working character info screen.
